What are the benefits of using essential oils?

Essential oils have been trending for some years, because I believe we are beginning to understand the need for a healthier alternative to traditional medication for ailments. However, the history of essential oils goes way back to biblical time and through the centuries until the present day.

An essential oil is a highly concentrated natural substance made from seeds, flowers, fruit, leaves, stems and roots found in nature. They are produced via processes such as steam-distillation or cold-pressed extraction. Through this process all the natural therapeutic aspects of the plants are transferred into the oils which is past onto us as humans.

There are three main ways of using therapeutic grade essential oils with doTERRA. There is aromatically, topically and internally. Below I have layout a brief overview of these three methods.

Aromatically (with a diffuser)

On the whole there are only a few companies even close to doTERRA regarding their global success of the wellness advocates and reps. So, the possibility of becoming successful in your home business is far higher than most companies. However, one thing that has changed since 2020 is the real need to understand and use online methods to market your business.

Even though doTERRA is perfectly timed for the international market, not all advocates fully understand the power selling doTERRA online. Their are customers all over the world hungry for natural wellness products. They want the products to be high quality, safe and pure, but they want to buy them online. For the serious member who really wants to make money from home, here is the opportunity to share your business and products with the world.

So, what does that mean for the wellness advocate?

It is quite a dilemma for new and existing advocates. Most understand that a decision need to be made, but unsure what to do next.

I personally, do not believe that we have a choice. Waiting for most of us is not a mindset or position we want to be in. While working online simply means that they don't need to reach out to family and friends run house parties until it is possible.

What is wrong with reaching out to family and friends?

Nothing!

However, let us assume that social distancing was not going to be an issue and take about how big our social circle really is.

Unless you have a massive social circle you will run out of people to speak to really fast. Most of us have a circle of friends which add up to about 200 people. Most of us will create a ward leads list of about 20 people we believe would buy our products or join our business.

I am sure that there are many advocates that will argue that building personal relationships is the tried and tested method of being successful and that is true. However, nobody said that relationships could not be developed after they subscribe to your blog or landing page.

However, we still return to the same argument that:

1. How does someone new to the industry build a team once their close social circle is exhausted?
2. How will you to speak to everyone you know and then everyone you don't know?
3. How are you going to build a warm leads list and follow up with them?

This is a great method of sharing your business and products, if you have skin like a crocodile, endless free time and a lot of confidence. The amount of people you will need to speak to before you find a positive reaction will be in the hundreds and maybe thousands.

The internet on the other hand is limitless. You will never be short of leads and prospect. However, an online method of building a warm leads list does involve learning new skills. On the positive side, these skills are not only great for building your doTERRA business, but also an investment in yourself and any future venture. The fact is, knowing how to use the internet will allow you to earn money wherever you live in the world. All you need is a laptop, a business to promote and the skills and knowledge on how to be successful online.
